About Russ
I was a former high school and college athlete but became interested in Training after I recovered from a serious back injury. I've spent more than 23 years training clients of all ages and adding to my knowledge. I've attained Elite level status as an ISSA Trainer, Fitness Therapist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Sports and Conditioning Coach. I've studied various martial arts and Both Eastern and Western Philosophy over a span of 30 and am a Certified IMPACT Self-Defense Instructor and Boxing Fitness Coach. I've worked as the Fitness Training Coordinator for a Medical Lifestyle Change Program (weight loss and smoking cessation) and have been the Fitness Director at a Major Resort.

I usually like to talk with students one on one initially to see if thier goals and my style mesh (in the covid world this can be done on-line). I look for clients/students who are open to learning and motivated do the "homework" after our sessions.
We set up a series of plans along thier goals, increasing the challenges and new material as they show progress. These are usually 4-week blocks. Less or more depending on time we spend together.
