About DeVina
I have been teaching students for over 7 years (middle and high school). I have been teaching sewing, crafting (including cutting machines), baking, jewelry, and computer for years; I teach online and in-person. I have been teaching classes at a local craft store for over 3 years. My services stand out because I have in-depth knowledge of my subject areas. For example, because I majored in fashion design, I have an in-depth knowledge of sewing. I am continuously learning, perfecting my craft, and passing the knowledge on to my students.
I love giving students the power to create things for themselves. I enjoy seeing the amazement on the faces of my students when they learn to conquer their fears and push forward.
I have a bachelors degree in apparel design and technology (fashion design). I have been designing and sewing since 2000.

I like to know what makes the student want to learn to see. Then I find out where the student is with his/her sewing abilities. Then I proceed with explaining the parts of the machine. The we move into using the machine.
