About Tori

It is s fulfilling to work with students who have a passion for sewing, knitting.
My lessons are set up with the idea that I'm teaching not only the how, but why some skills and techniques are done a specific way. Classes start out with a basic project and quickly move to projects that capture the students imagination.

I have been sewing and knitting since I was in elementary school. My mother was the main source of my education and I have continued that through courses in college, at local sewing machine shops and online.
In the late 1990's I worked for a company as a trainer. There I learned good practices in setting up curriculum and tailoring instruction to the students needs.

We start off with a set of specific beginner programs to familiarize the student with a sweing machine and become comfortable. The student completes a simple pair of pajama/lounge pants. Lessons after this are based on what the student has an interest in and wants to create.
