About Eduardo

I have taught performing arts for almost 7 years, of which 6 I've performed professionally in musical theater in Mexico City. In Boston I am completing a Masters degree in Opera. My voice lessons cover an integral understanding of the body and its function on the voice. As a singer and former dancer, I like to provide insight and encouragement to coach you to your next goal-whether it is professional or for fun.

I enjoy teaching voice because it is a way to give back what I have gained form my learning process in the arts. I believe performing arts are integral in the benefits they provide those who delve in them.

It came to me first as an opportunity to assist teaching to further my knowledge in the execution. This then turned into something I love to do.

About the lesson

I like to have a conversation about goals and expectations, previous experience, and logistics for lessons so that we both enjoy the time we are investing. This usually happens outside lesson time. Then it is time to have fun!

Ages 16-65, of all musical experience and preference.

Look for a teacher who is not just teaching. I think it is important that the field of expertise is also a field in which the teacher works, researches, and is always improving and enxpanding on. A teacher, to me, knows how to be a student. Also, look for a teacher with drive and motivation. A bright attitude will make any experience better.
