About Adam

I love helping students meet THEIR musical goals. Whether you want to perform a show or just learn for your own enjoyment, I'm here to help YOU.

My goal is to make learning exciting, encouraging, and fun! I'm a great listener, and a patient teacher. I have decades of experience with playing and singing, and I know how make music accessible and fun.

I have been involved in music my entire life. I graduated with a Youth/Music degree from Heartland Baptist Bible College, and I currently serve as the Music Minister at Victory Baptist Church.

I love seeing students make progress, reach their goals, and do things they never thought they could do.

Me and my students are a team. When I help them meet their goals, I've met my goal.

I started by working with students that were part of my church, and have also given lessons to students at a home for troubled boys.

I have been singing and playing piano since I was five years old!

Besides private lessons for many years, I have sung in front of crowds of thousands of people, travelled as part of a quartet, and received a Youth/Music degree from Heartland Baptist Bible College.

I have worked as a Music Minister for six years, and currently serve as the Music Minister at Victory Batist Church.

About the lesson

First, listen to them. I want to understand each student's goals and what they hope to accomplish.

Once we know what our goals are, we'll work together to assess where the student is currently, then create a plan to meet those goals!

I have worked with students of all ages, from children, to teenagers, to adults.

Look for a teacher who cares about YOU and YOUR goals. The most important thing in the teacher/student relationship is that the teacher truly cares about you.

One of my students was a shy teenager who had been told he was tone deaf. In fact, his mother told me the same thing.

I DO NOT believe anyone is tone deaf. I think anyone can learn to sing. I worked with this young man, and in only a few lessons he could consistently sing on pitch. In fact, he sang his first solo at our church camp this summer and did a great job!
