About Susan
I cannot remember a time when I have not been singing. I performed for many years prior to passing on my legacy to my students. I am proud to say many of my students are working professionally in Theater, Cruise Lines and Amusement Parks.
I have taught Voice at DaySpring Academy for Education and the Arts and been Musical Director for their yearend production. Also, taught vocal classes and private students, children and adults, at John Leggio’s Center for the Performing Arts in Spring Hill, FL for 9 years. While continuing teaching privately, I have also been the music/performing arts teacher at Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School in Spring Hill, FL and Saint John Paul II Catholic Elementary School in Lecanto, FL. Susan is currently the Music Director/Musical Theater/Acting Teacher for Hernando Performing Arts Academy (A Show Palace Company). Susan also currently performs with the popular musical variety group COVER to COVER .
I am a proud member of NATS, National Association of Teachers of Singing, and ACDA, American Choral Directors of America.
I had a friend who owned a performing arts studio and asked if I would start teaching and coaching voice at her studio.
I have many years of performing experience and private vocal training. Resume upon request.

I explain the process of vocalese and challenging them with new music. How their lessons are an investment in themselves and will breed positive benefits for every part of their life.
I have worked with children and adults. Very young to mature. Also, singers who sing for themselves and also singers on the professional level.
The teacher must teach to the singers voice, not try to make the singer sound like them or any other student for that matter. Each student is unique!
This past year I was the Resident Private Vocal Instructor and Musical Director for Hernando Performing Arts Academy and the children had their Christmas Performance on a Professional Stage of The Show Palace Dinner Theater in Hudson, FL.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think students need to think about what their short term goals are.

Yes, 1/2 hour slots are for the less experienced sometimes younger students and the rate is $25 per lesson.
One hour slots are for the more experienced singer and are $40 per lesson
I try to provide as much sheet music and recorded music for the student as possible if I have it, not to incur further expenses if possible.
