About Allie

My main passion is implementing music, art, and technology to cultivate expression, resistance, healing and liberation. I love to educate and witness young people become empowered and showcase their insightful perspectives with the world. I firmly believe in the healing power of music because creating does that for me, and I hope to share some of those skills with others.

I have been performing as a live musician since I was 11. Singing and songwriting were my first musical adventures. In the last few years, I've expanded my knowledge to audio engineering. My most recent position was an audio technology instructor with Women's Audio Mission.

(concealed information)

While technical training is important, I excell most at bringing inuition and passion to my lessons. If there isn't substance to back up your technical chops, you are missing out on one of the best things about creative musical expression, and I love harnessing that with the creatives I work with.

Allie is the sweetest teacher ever and always came to our class with the best attitude. In a pandemic that is super isolating she made me feel at home in a new community and helped me develop my skills as a songwriting, beatmaking dj!
