About Jenny

My teaching style is not a one size fits all style. I take each student from where they are and tailor make their lessons, their repertoire, and their needs to aid in their growth.

I love my students. Each one is important to me, and their journies as singers, from amateur to professional is important. Not to mention, it's fun!

I have been a conductor and teacher for many years. Teaching was the perfect complement to my performing career.

I have an MFA in vocal performance, I am a member of The National Association of the Teachers of Singing (NATS) and I am working professionally as a singer.

About the lesson

I spend time getting to know their voice. I listen to their thoughts, and use my expertise to tailor make a lesson plan for them.

I have worked with everything from the beginner to the professional singer. My preference is beginning and advanced adults and professionals. I find these students to be the most rewarding.

The best advice to be sure that we are a good fit. I want the student to trust me. I want to be sure our visions match. I am not insulted if the a student doesn't feel we are a good fit. I want that for myself as well.

Recapping my year with each student and getting a sense of their growth from their standpoint. How thrilling to hear that they all feel they have progressed!
