About Neha

I strive to teach in a way that helps students become the best performers they can be while still enjoying themselves. I have helped prepare many people for auditions whether it be for a musical, or various choirs. I not only have 10 years of singing experience, but I also am currently a Music Education and Vocal Performance major at college, and so I understand how to teach and also understand how to perform. I also can teach various styles of music whether that be Classical, Pop, Musical theater, or Disney songs specifically. I understand how the performing world works right now because I am currently learning and performing in it myself.

I love seeing what music can do for people, and helping them find that outlet of creativity and expression. Singing is a very human experience and teaching it to other people and sharing the knowledge I have gained myself brings me a lot of joy.

I started by helping people with musical and choral auditions, and quickly realized that I love helping people work through music problems that they may be having.

I have 10+ years of singing experience and am classically trained. I also am a double major in Choral Music education and Vocal performance at my college and have been closely working with students and performing.

About the lesson

I will start by getting to know the student pertaining to what type of music they like, and what they are hoping to gain out of voice lessons. Then I provide them with vocal warmups that are meant to help the reach their goals and strengthen their voice. And then I will work with the student to choose a repertoire that they not only enjoy but also fits their voice well.
