About Patty
My motto is to have every player love the game more today than the day before.
I apply life lessons when teaching skills. This includes respect, self-reliance, mental toughness, standing your ground, and being kind and accepting of others.
My Education degree helps me teach players according to their learning styles. I explain and demonstrate in ways they can then self-correct, not just perform in a lesson setting, but take what they've learned and then apply it in stressful game situations.
Mental aspects are included in every lesson. Because I've "been in their cleats" I can relate to what they're thinking and feeling. As a female, I played at the collegiate level (Hall-of-Fame inductee, Athletic and Academic All-American) have coached at the collegiate level (and all ages), and have raised a collegiate softball player. I've been on every side of the game.
Simple "homework" assignments are given at each lesson so they can continue developing outside of lessons.
Now... let's have some fun with a little yellow ball!

Patty is so knowledgeable and down to earth. Patty really understands how to connect with the player so the player is able to stay engaged during the lesson. Both of our daughters always look forward to their weekly lessons and we are seeing soo much improvement in their play as a result!
Patty connects with my player and helps her continually improve her hitting technique. Last season she finished with a .568 average.
