What Does Bruce Lee, Tai Chi, Daoist Monks, and Vero Beach All Have in Common?

Bill Mattucci, a Vero Beach resident and owner of the Vero Beach Tai Chi Institute, this week recently returned back from one of his bi-annuals trip to China where he further solidifies his martial arts experience and performance.

Mattucci has been traveling to China for over a decade, training privately with his Tai Chi teacher in Beijing, as well as traveling throughout China to further explore the history and culture surrounding Chinese martial arts.

To date, Mattucci has spent time at the White Cloud Daoist Temple, interviewing and practicing QiGong with a Daoist Acolyte.

“I have had the fortune of practicing as a student under Ted Wong, a protégé of none other than Bruce Lee,” said Mattucci. “Through all of my experience and lifelong dedication to this craft, I want to share what I have learned and fortified in my martial arts life with all interested students through Vero Beach Tai Chi Institute.”

Coach Bill is known for a robust and informational training style, skilled in the art of Tai Chi Chuan, Daoist meditation, and Daoist healing arts.

Today, Vero Beach Tai Chi Institute offers Wu Family Style Taijiquan Courses, for both beginners and advanced. These are taught in the “traditional” manner to not just develop good health but to develop “Super Health”. These practice methods are not the water downed New Age methods but the traditional practices dating back before 1949 and based upon the ancient “Tai Chi Classics”.

For all those looking to get started in the art of Tai Chi, Coach Bill recommends registering for the 8- week Beginners Course, offered six times per year.
