About Egan
I have been nannying and tutoring children since I was a student myself. I earned my B.A. in Communications from Temple University. My favorite subjects to help teach are Reading, Phonics, Spelling, basic Science and Math. I currently assist three siblings aged 5, 6, and 7 with Florida Virtual School.

I believe different teaching approaches work for different students. It’s important to gauge a student’s learning style and present information in various ways (ie: visual, auditory, tactile) to ensure comprehension through continued practice. Building on current skills and using positive reinforcement while adjusting lessons to preferred learning styles leads to student success!
