About Noa
Hi! I’m Noa, a friendly and dedicated tutor with four years of experience working with children in school and camp settings. I specialize in helping kindergarten and elementary students learn to read in a fun, engaging, and supportive way. I tailor every lesson to each child’s needs, using interactive activities, games, drawing, storytelling, and guided reading exercises to make learning enjoyable and effective. I’m skilled at adapting to different learning styles and creating a safe, patient, and encouraging environment where every student feels confident to explore, practice, and succeed. Beyond reading, I focus on building confidence, fostering a love of learning, and celebrating progress. Students enjoy my lessons because I’m approachable, creative, and make learning fun. I take a patient, engaging, and hands-on approach to tutoring, ensuring that each child feels confident and motivated to learn. My methodology focuses on making reading fun and accessible through a mix of interactive activities, phonics practice, and guided reading exercises. I tailor my techniques to each child’s learning style, using games, storytelling, and visual aids to reinforce comprehension and word recognition.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up activity to spark interest, followed by targeted reading exercises, vocabulary building, and comprehension practice. I end each session with a short review and discussion to consolidate learning and celebrate progress.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my four years of experience working with children, which allows me to connect with young learners, adapt to their individual needs, and create a supportive, encouraging environment.
My lessons are designed for kindergarten and elementary students who are learning to read or looking to strengthen their reading skills. I focus on building confidence, fostering a love of reading, and helping students achieve measurable improvement at their own pace.
