About Maria

I have more than a decade of experience teaching students in high school and undergraduate level math and sciences. Each of my students gets a bespoke approach depending on ability, schedule, and need, and I have successfully worked with all manner of students including those with special needs, serious athletes, and prospective university students. I specialize in grades 9-12 math (calculus, functions, vectors, statistics) and sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics), and undergraduate biology and forensic sciences. I have an exceptional success rate in helping students achieve their post-secondary and graduate goals, and have maintained relationships with many previous clients even after they no longer require my services.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student and subject matter, depending on my clients long- and short-term goals.
I break down each new concept into easily understandable, relatable material so that my students understand the subject, rather than just memorize steps to finding a solution. This allows my students to solve all manner of problems and use the resources I have taught them in a wide range of subjects and situations.
