About Connie

I enjoy teaching and learning process very much. It gives me great satisfaction and sense of accomplishments to share knowledge with my students. I am passionate about languages and life long learning, we should always learn despite our ages. In my teaching process, I can also share some possitive though to my students which can help them to be better people.

About the lesson

I will test my students' level to gauge their standard to make sure they have strong foundation before I teach the next level. I always test my students regularly to make sure they understand what I teach. My lessons include vocabulary, speaking (conversation & role play), and writing.

I find (Connie) Lai to be very dedicated in her work as a Mandarin teacher. She is also the type of teacher that is concerned whether or not if you are learning and learning well. Connie is also the type of teacher that will change her teaching style to match your learning ability. It is because of this flexibility makes her a better Mandarin teacher.

She, will use extensive methods to teach Mandarin. Not only to teach from the course work but also daily living experiences which is important because this too can help with learning of Mandarin.

In summary, I am thankful for (Connie) Lai to be my teacher and grateful for her using her skills in teaching me. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
