About Casey
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to each prospective client/student. Each session will be customized to meet your individual needs, wants, and goals.
I enjoy everything about what I do. Being able to help individuals meet their health and wellness goals, transform their minds + bodies. It's work that sustains me from the inside out.
As a practitioner of yoga for 5 years, and a teacher for going on 2, it brings me joy to be able to share this practice with others. I came to yoga after receiving an autoimmune diagnosis in an effort to find pain relief, self-acceptance, and comfort in my own body again.
As my passion and love for yoga grew, I knew the practice was something I
wanted to share with others. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Alliance
certification at Okra Charlotte with Brooke Carlson and Alicia Roskind in the spring
of 2016. I also have a 50-hour certificate in physical assists from Yoga One, and am a certified kids yoga instructor.
I pride myself in accommodating all practitioners so the practice is at their level, fitting their needs and wants. I offer many different styles of yoga: from restorative (yin, or deep stretch), meditation, and breath work (pranayama), as well as personal development.
I have six years experience in (Early Childhood) Education, as well as a degree in the field. I'm a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified yoga instructor, and since being certified I've collected an upward of 100 additional training hours in the art of assisting yoga, and kids yoga. This fall 2017 I will be assisting in Learn2TeachYoga's ((concealed information) therapeutic yoga training program.

Before we begin working together I offer a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation. This provides time for me to get a deeper understanding of what my student needs and wants, and time for them to ask any questions they have. From there, I'll develop a personalized plan (and goals) for that client. Some students are seeking stress reduction, overall health, while others may want to increase strength or flexibility (maybe you even want to do all of the above to which I say YAY! Let's do this!). This is YOUR life, YOUR practice, so it's going to be personalized to fit YOU. There is no one size fits all here.
I've worked with children as young as 2 years old, and adults up to 65 years of age. Severely limited and restricted movement, to body builders. Those with illness, and those without.
Check with as many teachers are you're able. Speak up and ask any questions you have, and be direct about what YOU want. In the end, choose the person you most connect with.

Casey provides a holistic approach to yoga, focusing on mind, body, and spirit. Her classes are as challenging or relaxing as you prefer, as she shares a range of poses to practice for all. I love that classes with Casey aren't incredibly serious and that she reminds you to love to yourself for what you are. My favorite part is when she is able to assist with deep stretches and enhance the practice with her own essential oil blends (Jean's Apothecare). She teaches all across Charlotte, so there's an atmosphere for all!!
Casey is one of my favorite yoga instructors! She has such a calming presence and her classes are always fun and challenging, and leave me feeling refreshed. I highly recommend anyone to take her classes!

Details
The prices of service are dependent on your needs, and location and duration of the class. Every new student recieves a free 15 minute phone consultation, and a complimentary herbal tea with each session.
Intro prices: $25 for 30 minutes, $45 for 1 hour. Prices vary after; discounts applied for bundle packages.
