About Maya
I've been practicing yoga for as long as I can remember. I am certian that it is my practice that keeps me grounded and in a constant state of serenity, When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I was inspired to share ways to relieve stress with the community. This led to enrolling in a Yoga Teacher Training program.
I graduated as a certified yoga instructor through the Kaivalya Yoga Method Yoga Teacher Training. Since then I have been registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200 RYT. I also recieved certification as a Yoga Therapist.

When working with a new student, the first step is to learn more about them and what their personal goals are for their yoga practice. This can be done via a quick discovery call or a student intake form. From there, I curate an individual plan based on the student's desired level of intensity, areas of focus and goals. Yoga is a journey so there can be changes and tweaks made along the way as the student's needs transform.
Througout my career as a yoga instructor and therapist I've worked with an array of students. I have taught men and women of all ages and a variety of body types. I make it a point to ensure that my sessions are accessibly to every body.
