About Lora
I am a 500 RYT..that means I have 500 hours of education. I actually have 800 hours of education but the standard for teachers is either a 200 hr or 500 hour. I attended Southwest Insitute of Healing Arts in Tempe AZ. I am certified in: Hatha, Yin, prenatal, resorative, and the mediation practice known as Nidra. I studied sound healing and often incorporate vibration into my classes with use of crystal bowls, tibeten bowls and Gong.

After deciding what the students specific goals are I would recommend the specific type of yoga I feel would benefit the student. For example if you are a 60 yr old person with no yoga experience I would suggest starting to build strength and balance through chair yoga. But if you are a person with even some experience I would recommend a flow class. There are so many options in yoga besides just downward dog. I always assess my students as I watch them as they practice for strength, balance and ability then teach to your level of ability.
