About Emily
I am a strictly therapeutically minded yoga instructor. Healixyoga has been designed as a safe and sacred space in which to practice the healing science of yoga. All bodies are welcome and individual sessions are available. I have been practicing yoga for almost 20 years now (I have 200 hr teacher and 500 hr yoga therapy certifications) and after experiencing the healing benefits myself, I have dedicated my practice to sharing that with others. I began teaching yoga classes with my friends. Then I became certified and began working with classes and private sessions in CT. About 5 years after moving to VT, I opened my own studio.
I have been a dancer for 45 years. I know the workings of bodies and injuries intimately. I gam cerified as a yoga teacher with 200 hour trading in 2004. In 2006 , I began trading as a yoga therapist with integrative yoga therapy and highly experienced instructors Joseph and Lillian Le Page.

In individual sessions we begin with an intake time so that I can hear your story and understand how best I can be of service. Then we go through sin poses where I take notes and provide a prescription for you to go home with.

I charge $90 for the first session which typically takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours. After that, sessions are $60/hour.
