About Geri

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! I am a licensed, dually certified teacher available for private tutoring in all elementary subject areas. Did your child fall behind this summer? Does your child need to improve their handwriting, including cursive? (which is no longer taught in school) Maybe your student has trouble solving multi-step multiplication word problems or needs to learn how to write detailed essays. I am an expert in the English language and can teach your child how to work smarter, not harder. I have been a teacher in New York for over 15 years and am passionate about creating passionate, autonomous learners. I will be available after school and weekends for private tutoring. I can travel to you or you can bring your student to my home. I will help your child set and reach their goals in a fun and challenging way.
