About Kristin
Kristin Porter is a registered yoga teacher in Raleigh, NC with over 500 hours' experience in teaching public, private, and corporate level yoga classes.
Our bodies are the first and last home we are ever given on this earth. Through teaching yoga, Kristin's goal is to help people in their journey of learning how to love and thrive in this home through intentional, sustainable movement.
Kristin believes that all movement has the power to heal, and it’s the intention behind the movement that can truly transform. With her, you can expect your flow sequence to be an interesting mix of slow, strong, and mindful exploration... her classes are open to all levels of practitioners.

Students who are new to yoga often come to me with lots of questions and a pretty interesting story. I want to hear all of it!
I find the most effective progress is made when we begin with a clear understanding of personal history and goals. For this reason, our initial visit will be more like a chat over tea.
After that, we will focus our sessions more specifically on the student's personal practice and goals. Each session will be tailored to their own path and we can dig deep to the heart of what drives this journey for them.
