About Doreen
I specialize in teaching Yin and Gentle yoga to those who are new to the practice or just prefer a slower more mindful approach to yoga. I am a 500RYT certified Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin yoga instructor. I also teach meditation, yoga Nidra and created The Paint & Pose Workshops. I am also Reiki 1 certified.
i very much enjoy working with people who are new to the practice or just enjoy a more mindful practice.
After discovering how much yoga improved my mind and body at a later age in life I wanted to share my love of yoga and the many benefits I have discovered with others-especially those who think they are too old, heavy, inflexible etc.
i am 500RYT certified in Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga. I am also certified to teach Yin Yoga, chair yoga, meditation, yoga Nidra, restorative yoga and am a certified Reiki practitioner.

My classes are designed for those new to the practice and are small classes located in Guilderland NY. If a student prefers a private lesson, send a questionnaire so that I can create a class based on your needs or restrictions. When we meet we will discuss your information and start with some poses designed around you.
I have worked with students who have never stepped on a mat before, some recovering from an injury, people unable to get on a mat (chair yoga), those with addictions, children, teens and many others.
