About Nataliia

What can I tell about myself? Teaching is my vocation. I was a lecturer at the university, but because of the war I was forced to leave Ukraine. I enjoy working with young people who are serious about their future and want to develop additional skills to be more competitive. I also like to teach the elderly, for whom learning a language is a means of avoiding Mr. Alzheimer's as long as possible. )) In general... I am very interested in memory and mental health issues. Therefore, during training, I offer certain recommendations for memorising new words. The effectiveness of these recommendations was tested during language teaching to foreign students of the preparatory faculty of the medical university (Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia). In addition to teaching at the university, I was engaged in science and began working on a dissertation on the philosophy of education. Why am I doing this? To teach more effectively. About the lesson

I am happy to teach the Ukrainian language from level A0 to C2. In addition to general literary language, I offer lessons in the scientific style of speech and Ukrainian studies. I am the co-author of two textbooks on Ukrainian studies and will select texts for classes in such a way as to tell as much as possible about my beautiful Ukraine. I am also ready to help in learning the Russian language (up to the C2 level), but only to those who really need it due to professional activity. I will teach without instilling sentiments towards the Russian language and culture. Although I am a master of Russian philology and a native speaker, I am not a propagandist of the Russian language. What teaching methods do I use? At the university, I taught languages to foreign students and used the method of language learning without the medium of language using visualisation developed with the help of IT. Any language is a system and therefore memorising language patterns is very important. That is, after memorising one sentence model, students can create hundreds of other sentences by simply replacing the words. Therefore, in each lesson, students perform exercises on constructing sentences with the help of models. In addition, the structure of the lesson always includes exercises for the formation of correct pronunciation, reading, listening and speaking skills. I will be happy to teach motivated and self-developing people.
