About Nora
I have 2+ years of experience teaching violin and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Historical Performance, specializing in Baroque Violin. I focus on introducing young children to the violin using playful, age-appropriate strategies. My lessons emphasize developing strong ear training and aural skills from the very beginning. I use storytelling, rhythm games, and movement to make learning fun and engaging. Simple melodies help students explore technique while fostering musicality. My approach is inspired by Suzuki and Kodály methods. Students develop pitch recognition, rhythmic confidence, and expressive playing. Lessons encourage imagination, curiosity, and a love for sound. I believe early exposure to music builds a strong foundation for lifelong musicianship. Each session is interactive, joyful, and tailored to the child’s personality. I integrate games, songs, and creative activities to reinforce musical concepts. Students gradually build technique, ear skills, and confidence. Together, we make violin learning playful, inspiring, and full of musical joy.

We focus on posture, hand relaxation, and subtle movement for smooth vibrato. I integrate exercises that strengthen control while encouraging creativity. Students explore expressive phrasing in various genres and styles. Each session balances technical refinement with artistic expression. I emphasize listening, imitation, and mindful practice for skill development. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and confidence-building. Together, we cultivate a rich, emotive vibrato. You’ll add depth and personality to your violin playing.
