Kathryn is the best voice teacher I've ever had! She's patient, knowledgeable, challenges you, gives you direct tasks, and is an incredible singer herself. I myself, am already a professional musician, albeit not a singer, so I give this review knowing that there can be a lot of bad music instruction out there, teachers claiming to know things they don't and blaming the students for lack of improvement. This is not the case with Kathryn. And if you've made it to the end of my review, I think you will find that the lessons are super fun, and that you'll learn a lot about yourself in general. I've learned that singing is so much more than, well, just singing songs.

Kathryn is a very effective singing teacher. She instinctively identifies weaknesses in my voice -- breathiness, range, volume -- and comes up with creative exercises to strengthen them. I also appreciate her spontaneity and cheeful nature. She brings positive energy to every session.

Kathryn is a fun, enthusiastic and supportive voice teacher. She makes every lesson fun and is clear in her instruction. With Kathryn I have been able do discover new aspects of my voice and better understand how to approach learning new songs.
