About Athena
With 4 years of experience in both teaching and practical work, I am deeply passionate about education and helping students unlock their full potential in Web Development. I have worked with students from high school to college, guiding them through the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and beyond. Over the years, I have successfully helped many students build real-world projects, secure internships, and develop the skills they need for future careers in tech. One of my proudest milestones was seeing several of my students land their first web development jobs, thanks to the solid foundation I helped them build. I believe in a hands-on approach, where students learn by doing, making the learning process both engaging and practical. My passion for education goes beyond teaching technical skills; I am dedicated to inspiring my students, instilling confidence, and guiding them toward success in their careers. My teaching methodology for Web Development focuses on clear communication, motivation, and integrity to help students succeed. I explain complex coding concepts in simple, understandable terms, ensuring that students feel comfortable and confident as they learn. I encourage active participation, allowing students to apply what they’ve learned through hands-on practice, building real projects, and solving problems together.
I motivate students by setting achievable goals, providing regular feedback, and celebrating progress, which helps them stay engaged and confident. Integrity is central to my approach—I focus on teaching ethical coding practices and the importance of writing clean, maintainable code. I believe in making the learning process enjoyable and tailored to each student's pace and needs. In addition to Web Development, I also offer support in related subjects, using the same student-centered approach to foster understanding and academic growth.
