About Carol

I am a Political Science/History/Humanities Instructor. Twenty years plus experience. Extensive vocal coaching and public speaking. I have helped countless students. Many of them are instructors today and successful business professionals. International students welcome! There is no challenge too small or too great. ;-)

About the lesson

I have a M.A. of Liberal Arts and graduate hours in History and Humanities, but I'm a Jill of all trades! I have degrees in Criminal Justice and have a passion for public speaking, theater and musical performance. I have thousands of hours in stage performance as well as public speaking.
My style of teaching is flexible to what you need. I assess how you learn and adjust accordingly! I have a teaching philosophy that reflects my daily life...curiosity is the key to learning, and no question is a stupid question. By using a combination of the Socratic method, along with inductive and deductive reasoning, and solid facts, I lead you around to the answers you need. I'll help you build the framework you need so that you can build the information base you need!

If you are looking for an extremely brilliant and knowledgeable person, look no further. I am 46 years old and and I was fortunate enough to be placed in Mrs Marmaduke's History class. She is hands down the best instructor I have had to date. The way she teaches is so down to earth that even I could grasp and retain the information in the lecture. She makes learning fun and exciting. Being in her class was like watching a History Channel Documentary in person.

Rates are non refundable after lessons are given. Cancellations for scheduled tutoring must be cancelled at least a few hours before the session or rates still apply for at least 1 hours time. After the first hour, half hour sessions are available.
