About Ivy
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Biology. My specialty lies in making developmental biology and embryology accessible, engaging, and deeply meaningful for university students. I focus on the fascinating processes of cell differentiation, morphogenesis, organogenesis, and the genetic regulation of development. Through comparative embryology and the use of model organisms, I help students connect complex concepts to real biological systems. I believe that seeing how development is conserved across species makes learning both intuitive and exciting. My teaching approach blends clarity with curiosity, breaking down intricate processes into steps that students can understand and build upon. I have worked extensively with biology majors and aspiring researchers in developmental sciences. My teaching approach in Biology is relaxed, interactive, and focused on real-world applications.
