About Rory
I am a Biology tutor with more than 8 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 490 students. I enjoy helping learners explore the fascinating world of biological sciences while building strong scientific foundations and critical thinking abilities.
My teaching philosophy centres on making Biology engaging, practical, and easy to understand. I believe that students learn best when concepts are connected to real-life examples and explained through interactive discussions rather than simple memorisation.
Through personalised mentoring and supportive instruction, I help students improve grades, strengthen scientific understanding, and develop confidence in Biology. Many learners have achieved significant academic success through my structured teaching methods and continuous guidance.

My Biology lessons focus on developing a deep understanding of living systems through visual learning techniques, structured explanations, diagrams, scientific discussions, and practical examples. I teach Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Human Physiology, Zoology, Botany, Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology using engaging and student-focused teaching methods.
Students learn how biological systems function and interact while strengthening scientific reasoning and analytical thinking. Lessons include diagram practice, concept mapping, scientific interpretation, assignment support, coursework guidance, laboratory report assistance, and examination preparation. I emphasise conceptual understanding rather than memorisation to help learners retain information effectively.
My lessons are adapted to individual learning styles and academic goals. Whether students need support with school examinations, university coursework, projects, or research-related tasks, I provide structured guidance that improves understanding and academic confidence.
