About Cynthia
I am a dedicated chemistry tutor with over 6 years of experience helping students across a wide range of levels, from primary school to GCSE, A-Level, and first-year college. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students of different abilities, helping them improve their understanding, boost their confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and results-focused. I believe that every student can succeed in chemistry with the right guidance and clear explanations. I specialise in simplifying complex topics, such as organic chemistry, calculations, and chemical reactions into easy-to-follow concepts.
Over the years, I have successfully helped students raise their grades, prepare for exams, and develop effective study habits. I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s learning style and pace, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging in the subject.

I offer structured, engaging chemistry lessons tailored to each student’s level from early school foundations through GCSE, A-Level, and first-year college topics. My approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding first, then reinforcing it with exam-style practice and problem-solving techniques.
Lessons are personalised to match each student’s goals, whether that’s improving grades, preparing for exams, or gaining confidence in difficult topics like organic chemistry, calculations, or chemical bonding. I break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand steps and use real-life examples to make learning more relatable.
Each session includes clear explanations, guided practice, and targeted feedback. I also provide revision strategies, past paper support, and tips on how to approach exam questions effectively.
My aim is to make chemistry less intimidating and more logical helping students not just memorise content, but truly understand it and apply it with confidence.
