About Chitvan

I specialize in the critical transition years of Class 9th and 10th, where the foundation for senior secondary chemistry is laid. For IGCSE students, I focus on the 'Core' and 'Extended' syllabus, ensuring a deep understanding of the periodic table, stoichiometry, and redox reactions. My goal is to transform 9th and 10th-grade science from a collection of facts into a solid foundation for future JEE, NEET, or IB DP success.

About the lesson

1. Concept Building
Visualizing the Invisible: Using 3D molecular modeling tools to help students visualize atomic orbitals and stereochemistry.
Logical Anchoring: Instead of rote learning, we derive why reactions happen based on electronegativity, stability, and energetics.
2. IB/CAIE
IA & EE Support: Special guidance for IB students on their Internal Assessments and Extended Essays, focusing on research design and data analysis.
Training students to decode CAIE/IB question "command terms" (e.g., Evaluate vs. Explain) to ensure they hit every mark in the marking scheme.
3. The JEE/NEET Rigor
Pattern Recognition: Training students to identify "trap" options in MCQs and master shortcut techniques for Physical Chemistry calculations.
Integrated Problem Solving: Connecting topics (e.g., how Chemical Bonding influences Organic Acidity) to handle the multi-concept questions typical of JEE Advanced.
4. Digital-First Classroom
I use a high-precision digital pen and tablet, ensuring that our online sessions feel exactly like a physical classroom. All handwritten notes and reaction maps are shared as PDFs immediately after the class for easy revision.
