About Hilda
I am a dedicated Computer Programming tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience, supporting GCSE, A-Level, and University students in achieving stronger academic performance and greater confidence in coding. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex programming concepts into clear, understandable lessons tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals.
I specialise in subjects including Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, algorithms, object-oriented programming, software development, computational thinking, and debugging techniques. Throughout my experience, I have helped students improve grades, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and successfully complete coursework, coding assignments, and academic projects.

My computer programming lessons are designed to make coding simple, engaging, and practical for students studying GCSE, A-Level, and University courses. Each session is personalised according to the student’s current knowledge, learning pace, and academic objectives. I focus on building a strong understanding of programming fundamentals, including algorithms, problem-solving, computational thinking, debugging, and software development principles.
Lessons cover languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and other syllabus-related topics. I simplify difficult concepts into manageable explanations and use real coding exercises to strengthen confidence and independent thinking. Students receive support with coursework, programming projects, assignments, and examination preparation.
