About Talia
I am a French tutor with 9 years of experience and a MA in Bilingual Education with a French Focus. I have guided over 250 students from absolute beginners to advanced speakers. My lessons cover conversational French, grammar, pronunciation, cultural immersion, and DELF examination preparation. I am passionate about sharing French culture through cinema, cuisine, literature, and music in every lesson. My approach is immersive, warm, and adapted to each student's goals. My French lessons are immersive, communicative, and culturally enriched in every single session. Every lesson starts with a speaking warm-up to build confidence and identify areas to develop. Grammar is introduced in context through authentic real-world conversations and cultural scenarios. Pronunciation and accent training are integrated throughout every lesson using phonetic exercises and native audio comparison. Cultural exploration through French film, literature, music, food, and current affairs enriches every session and deepens motivation. DELF exam students receive comprehensive preparation across all tested skills. Advanced students engage with complex texts, literary analysis, and structured academic debate to develop the highest level of linguistic precision. Intermediate students build natural fluency through graduated conversation and thematic vocabulary development. I use authentic French audio and video throughout to develop natural listening comprehension. My goal is for every student to speak French with genuine fluency, natural accent, and deep cultural appreciation.
