About Mila
My approach to teaching French is centered on clear communication, cultural understanding, and building confidence in the language. I focus on helping students develop strong speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, making French practical and enjoyable. Lessons are personalized to each student’s level, learning style, and goals, whether it’s for school, exams, or personal enrichment. I use real-life examples, interactive exercises, and engaging conversations to make learning meaningful and effective. Cultural sensitivity is an important part of my methodology. I introduce students to French customs, traditions, history, and literature to give context and depth to the language. I also incorporate related subjects such as French Literature, French Writing Skills, and Francophone Culture to create a well-rounded understanding. This approach helps students not just learn French, but also appreciate and connect with the culture behind it. Integrity guides all my teaching practices. I provide honest feedback, consistent support, and encourage students to ask questions and explore ideas. By combining patience, structured lessons, and creative methods, I ensure each student progresses confidently and enjoys the learning journey. I am an experienced French tutor with 8 years of teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 250 students in mastering French, helping them improve both their language skills and confidence. I focus on making learning French enjoyable and accessible, whether for exams, assignments, or personal growth.
My teaching philosophy centers on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while encouraging practical communication.
