About Elise
I am a French tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 760 students. Throughout my career, I have helped learners develop confidence, fluency, and practical communication skills that support academic, professional, and personal success.
My teaching experience includes working with students preparing for examinations, university programs, international opportunities, travel experiences, relocation plans, and conversational fluency goals. This diverse experience allows me to adapt lessons effectively to different learning needs.
I believe language learning should be engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful. Students make the greatest progress when they actively communicate, receive supportive feedback, and practice consistently. My lessons are designed to create these opportunities while encouraging long-term growth.

My French lessons are designed to help students become confident communicators while developing strong skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and cultural understanding. Every lesson is carefully structured according to the student's goals, learning style, and current proficiency level.
Students participate in guided conversations, pronunciation training, listening comprehension exercises, reading activities, vocabulary development sessions, grammar workshops, and writing practice. These activities help learners improve fluency while strengthening language accuracy and confidence.
I focus on practical communication because language is most effective when it can be used naturally in real situations. Students are encouraged to speak regularly, apply newly learned concepts immediately, and develop confidence through active participation.
Grammar is taught through real-life examples and communication-based activities rather than isolated memorization. This approach allows students to understand how French works in everyday conversations and professional situations.
Authentic resources such as articles, dialogues, audio recordings, videos, and cultural materials are integrated into lessons to improve comprehension while exposing learners to natural French language usage and cultural contexts.
