About Oudam
Passionate Maths Expert & Business Professional
To me, Maths is more than just numbers—it is a language that I have been fluent in for as long as I can remember. Growing up, Maths always came naturally to me; I found it intuitive and genuinely enjoyable. This passion led me to take my Maths GCSE a year early, achieving an A*, followed by an A at A-Level.
My professional journey has always been centred around this "fluency." I built a successful career in Banking and Finance, earning professional qualifications in the field, and I am now a local business owner. This background allows me to bring a unique perspective to my tutoring. I don’t just teach formulas; I incorporate real-life examples from the world of business and finance to show students how the Maths they learn in the classroom relates to the real world.
Why I am Passionate About Tutoring:

Friendly, Focused Maths Tutoring for Ages 11-16
My tutoring is all about making the most of our time together. I don’t believe in repeating things your child already knows; instead, we dive straight into the "knowledge gaps." By focusing specifically on the topics they find tricky, we turn those "I can’t do this" moments into "I’ve got this!"
How I Help Your Child Succeed:
- Targeting the Gaps: We pinpoint exactly where the sticking points are. We won't go over what they’ve already mastered—we focus our energy on the areas that need the most work to see real progress fast.
- Turning Challenges into Strengths: I love helping students tackle the topics they usually dislike. We work on those "difficult" areas until they feel natural, helping your child build genuine confidence in the parts of maths they used to avoid.
- Tracking Progress: I closely monitor and track their development so we can both see the clear progress being made towards their goals.
- Committed to Their Target: Whether it’s passing a KS3 test or hitting a specific GCSE grade, I will work alongside your child for as long as they need to achieve the targets we set together.
