About Jace
As a committed Guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching and professional experience, I help school and college students progress from beginners to confident performers. I focus on technical skills such as chord accuracy, rhythm control, scale practice, finger coordination, and expressive playing.
One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been seeing students perform independently and gain recognition at school and college events. My classes are structured, supportive, and adaptable to each student’s pace, allowing steady progress while keeping learning engaging and enjoyable.
I also emphasise creativity, effective practice routines, goal-setting, and stage confidence. My mission is to inspire students to become skilled, confident, and passionate guitarists with a lifelong love for music.

My approach to teaching Guitar combines structured skill development and creative expression through Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I begin with strong fundamentals such as tuning, posture correction, simple chord progressions, and rhythm exercises before moving towards advanced techniques like fingerstyle patterns and scale applications. Motivation keeps students consistent and confident in their learning journey.
Communication ensures that every lesson is explained clearly and demonstrated practically for better understanding. Integrity is central to my method, as I emphasise smooth chord transitions, timing accuracy, and disciplined practice routines. I provide constructive feedback and steady support for improvement.
Creativity is nurtured by encouraging students to experiment with chord combinations and create their own melodies. Besides Guitar, I also teach music reading and ear training skills.
