About Jennifer
I went to state school in Somerset, then onto Cardiff and Oxford ... overseas, and now (I hope) the Bar....! and so I know first-hand how difficult it can be to access clear, high-quality academic support. A lot of the time, it’s not about ability..... Rather, it’s about being shown how to structure an argument, write clearly, and approach essays with confidence and genuine interest in expressing your own view.
I’m currently on my way to becoming a barrister, having completed the Bar course, and studying for final exams this summer... I have also completed a PhD in Human Geography and an MSt in Women’s Studies. Teaching is a way for me to share those skills and help students feel more confident, capable, and in control of their work. I have relocated back to the UK recently, from the Gulf.
I find it genuinely rewarding to help students go from feeling stuck to understanding what they’re doing.. that is why I have done it for these year, and I love seeing people doing well.

I have 5 yrs of university teaching, a strong academic background, including a PhD in Human Geography and an MSt in Women’s Studies (Oxford), offering tailored tutoring across law and essay-based subjects.
