About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 6 years of experience and a BSc in Financial Mathematics. My passion lies in helping students see how mathematics powers the real world, especially in fields like civil engineering and architecture. I specialise in guiding students through the mathematical principles behind structural analysis, load distribution, geometric modelling, and optimisation in building design. These concepts can seem abstract at first, but I make them clear by showing how they directly shape innovative and robust structures. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps that build confidence and clarity. Whether it’s calculating forces in a beam or optimising material use, I ensure students understand both the theory and its practical application. My sessions are interactive, tailored, and focused on the student’s specific goals and projects. I believe that every student can learn to connect abstract mathematics to real-world construction challenges. My aim is to equip you with the mathematical skills and insights you need to design creatively and build confidently.
