I’m a Math tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Computational Mathematics. My teaching is grounded in a holistic approach that focuses on understanding, not memorization. I specialize in helping non-STEM majors grasp advanced mathematical ideas without getting lost in dense computations.
I use everyday analogies, from cooking recipes to music rhythms, to bring abstract concepts into relatable focus. My lessons often include historical context, showing how big mathematical breakthroughs emerged from real human challenges and curiosity. This helps students appreciate not just how math works, but why it matters.
Rather than drill problem sets, I guide students to see the underlying structure of problems. I've worked closely with humanities scholars and creative thinkers, helping them discover the mathematical ideas behind art, politics, and logic. It’s incredibly rewarding to see students shed their math anxiety and begin to ask bold questions.
