About Yaseen

As an Electrical Engineer with experience in the Nuclear and Power sector, I bring both academic and hands-on expertise to my tutoring approach. With a BEng in Integrated Engineering from Cardiff University, I’ve earned awards such as being a National Grid Scholar and the Gold Crest Award, showing my commitment to innovation in engineering and education. Alongside my engineering career, I have years of experience as a personal tutor, helping students excel in math, physics, and engineering. My goal is to make complex concepts accessible, using real-world examples and a tailored approach to ensure each student’s success.

About the lesson

My focus in teaching is ensuring the student has a fundamental understanding of the principles, how they work, their uses, and how it’s applied. Once the core principles have been understood it becomes a lot easier understanding a topic. I believe this works especially well in science and maths as I have always found it easier to understand the topic itself rather than just memorising how to answer each question.
