About Dean
I am a Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My passion lies in exploring the fascinating world of chaos theory and fractal geometry. I integrate these advanced topics into my teaching to help students understand complex systems and natural phenomena in a deeper way. My approach includes teaching iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors using vivid visual examples and interactive simulations. This method makes abstract concepts more tangible and exciting. I enjoy working with curious learners and those interested in interdisciplinary science, blending math with physics, biology, and beyond. My classes encourage exploration and critical thinking, not just rote learning. I strive to create an environment where students feel inspired to ask questions and discover patterns in the complexity around them. The goal is to develop not only strong mathematical skills but also a sense of wonder for the beauty inherent in mathematics. Together, we will build a solid foundation and grow into confident, well-rounded mathematicians. I believe that appreciating complexity opens doors to new ideas and creative problem-solving. My teaching approach in Math is systematic and clear, designed to make concepts easy to understand and apply. I focus strongly on efficiency and accuracy in solving problems. Whether it's Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, or Calculus, I break down each topic step-by-step for better clarity. Along with these core areas, I also help students sharpen their mental math techniques, speed calculation, estimation skills, and quick problem-solving hacks. I use real-world examples and patterns to build strong number sense and logical thinking. Sessions are structured, but flexible enough to adapt to each student's learning pace. I believe in regular practice, timely doubt resolution, and giving consistent feedback to track progress. We aim to make math less stressful and more exciting. For university and school students, I provide tailored guidance for exams, assignments, and competitive tests. I’m especially skilled in preparing aspiring Engineer-in-Training and data-driven learners to handle fast-paced numerical challenges. Each class is interactive and goal-oriented. I support students in excelling not just academically, but also in building confidence with numbers. Together, we’ll build speed, accuracy, and a deep understanding of math.
