About Phoebe
I am a Math tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My passion is helping students explore the fascinating world of chaos theory and fractal geometry. I guide learners to understand complex systems and natural phenomena through mathematics. I teach iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors using visual examples, simulations, and interactive demonstrations. Lessons are designed to make abstract concepts tangible and engaging. I work closely with curious learners and students interested in interdisciplinary science, encouraging them to ask questions and experiment with ideas. My teaching approach in Maths is gentle, reflective, and focused on deep conceptual understanding. I encourage students to explore concepts at their own pace, ask questions, and experiment with different problem-solving strategies. I help students discover their unique approach to grasping complex theorems and abstract ideas.
Through discussion, examples, and guided exploration, students learn to connect different areas of mathematics and see the beauty behind patterns and structures. I support DIY learners and curious researchers in developing independent thinking and analytical skills. The focus is always on nurturing confidence alongside knowledge.
Together, we explore not just how mathematics works, but why it works, cultivating both curiosity and creativity. My goal is to make higher mathematics engaging, meaningful, and accessible. Every lesson invites students to discover a new way to think mathematically and excel in their studies.
