About Maris
I am a Maths tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and a BMath degree. My passion lies in helping students explore discrete mathematics, especially in the context of competitive programming and algorithms. I guide learners through combinatorics, graph theory, recurrence relations, and algorithmic complexity to tackle challenging computational problems. I focus on breaking down complex coding-related math problems into clear, manageable steps. Critical thinking and analytical skills are strengthened alongside technical knowledge. I encourage curiosity and active participation to make learning engaging. By focusing on deep understanding, students gain skills that last beyond the classroom. I aim to make every student feel capable and motivated to excel in mathematics.
