About Sloane
I am a mathematics tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MPhil in Mathematics. I take a holistic approach to teaching, focusing not just on formulas and problem-solving, but also on reducing math anxiety and building genuine confidence in learners of all ages. I believe every student can succeed in mathematics with the right guidance and support. My teaching style is personalized. I adjust the pace to match each student’s needs, ensuring no one feels rushed or left behind. I use growth mindset techniques to help students see challenges as opportunities, not obstacles. Positive reinforcement is central to my approach, celebrating small wins to build motivation and self-belief.
