About Gemma
I am a passionate mathematics tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Mathematics (MMath). My love for maths goes beyond formulae and equations—I am fascinated by the history of mathematics and the evolution of mathematical thought. I enjoy exploring how ancient civilisations contributed to the foundations of modern mathematics. From the geometry of the Egyptians to the number theory of the Greeks, every discovery tells a unique story. I delve into the origins of famous theorems and share the journeys of the brilliant minds who shaped them. For me, teaching maths is about connecting numbers to their cultural and intellectual roots.
