About Quinn

I am a Physics tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Particle Physics. My passion lies in acoustics and noise control physics, where I guide students through the fascinating science of sound. I specialize in sound propagation, sound absorption, and reverberation—core concepts that influence how we experience spaces. My lessons also cover essential principles of noise reduction, helping students understand how quieter and more comfortable environments are created.
To bring theory to life, I use real architectural acoustics case studies that show how physics is applied in building design and urban planning. Alongside conceptual learning, I introduce practical noise measurement techniques, giving students valuable hands-on experience. This balanced approach ensures ideas are not only understood but confidently applied in real-world contexts.
