About Kyla
I am an Architecture tutor with 4 years of teaching experience, having successfully guided over 150 college students in understanding and applying architectural concepts. My teaching philosophy focuses on making complex ideas simple and practical, combining creativity with technical skills. I aim to help students think like designers while mastering the tools and techniques used in professional architecture.
I cover a wide range of topics, including architectural design, building construction, urban planning, sustainable design, and software like AutoCAD, Revit, and 3ds Max. My lessons emphasize real-life examples, case studies, and hands-on exercises, so students can see how concepts are applied in practice.
I believe in patience, adaptability, and accountability. I adjust my teaching style to meet each student’s pace and goals, whether they are preparing for exams, assignments, or professional portfolios. My approach encourages experimentation, iterative improvement, and independent problem-solving, helping students build confidence and develop their unique architectural voice.
Many of my students have achieved top grades and successfully completed professional projects. I take pride in helping them grow academically and creatively. Together, we explore design principles, construction methods, and innovative solutions, making learning architecture both engaging and rewarding.

My teaching approach in Architecture is practical, adaptive, and student-centered.
