About Tessa
I am an Architecture tutor with 4 years of experience teaching students from school to college level. Over the years, I have successfully guided 200–250 students, helping them understand core architectural concepts, improve their design skills, and achieve academic success.
My teaching philosophy is simple: I focus on making learning practical, creative, and enjoyable. I use real-life examples and case studies to show how architectural principles apply in the real world. I encourage creativity, critical thinking, and exploration while providing clear guidance and structured lessons. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs, ensuring flexibility and a supportive learning environment.
I also help students with assignments, exam preparation, project work, and portfolio development for future careers. My aim is not just to teach architecture, but to inspire students to think innovatively and develop the confidence to succeed academically and professionally.
With integrity, creativity, and a passion for teaching, I strive to make architecture accessible and exciting for every student I work with.

My teaching approach in Architecture focuses on making complex concepts simple, practical, and inspiring. I cover key subjects such as Architectural Design, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Building Materials, Sustainable Architecture, and CAD-based tools like Revit and AutoCAD. I believe in connecting theory with practice, so I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how architectural principles apply to actual projects.
I emphasize creativity and innovation, encouraging students to explore their own ideas while guiding them with structured methods. Flexibility is central to my teaching; I adapt my lessons to suit the student’s level, learning pace, and specific goals. Integrity is also important—I aim to create a supportive and honest learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and experiment with designs.
My sessions are interactive and hands-on. I help students not only with assignments and project work but also with exam preparation and portfolio building for careers in architecture. By combining practical skills, critical thinking, and creativity, I ensure students gain a strong understanding of architecture and develop the confidence to excel in both academics and professional practice.
