About Zoe

Hello! My name is Zoe. I recently moved from London, England to Dubai, and I’m really excited to meet new students here! I love reading stories, making art, listening to and playing music, going to the theater, and swimming. I can’t wait to share my love of learning with you and help you grow in phonics, reading, and math. Learning with me is always fun- we’ll play games, solve puzzles, and explore new ideas together. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and seeing all the amazing things you can do!

About the lesson

I believe every child learns best when teaching is engaging, supportive, and tailored to their individual needs. My lessons are designed to build confidence while developing key skills in phonics, early reading, and mathematics. Techniques & Methodology: I use interactive, multi-sensory methods to make learning fun and memorable. For phonics and reading, this includes games, storytelling, and visual aids to strengthen decoding and comprehension skills. For math, I incorporate hands-on activities, problem-solving tasks, and real-life examples to help children understand concepts rather than just memorize. I always adapt my style to match each child’s learning pace and preferred way of working. Lesson Length: Lessons are usually 30–60 minutes, depending on the age of the child and their concentration span. Shorter sessions work best for younger learners, while older children often benefit from slightly longer classes. Qualifications & Experience: I hold a Master’s degree in Education from University College London, Institute of Education, one of the world’s leading institutions for teacher training and research. I have over 10 years of experience teaching in London, working across the British curriculum with children aged 3–11. During this time, I have supported pupils of all abilities in building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. Who My Lessons Are For: My sessions are suitable for children aged 3–11, from early learners just starting out with phonics to primary-aged pupils needing extra support or a confidence boost in reading and mathematics. I welcome children of all abilities and adapt each lesson to their unique needs.
